In case you hadn’t noticed, there appears to be a divorce epidemic raging through Hollywood. So who’s next? Well, if you believe my spies who saw them this weekend, we might have to keep a close eye on Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. They flew out to NYC on Saturday and, according to my sources, didn’t speak to each other during the entire flight. They’ve also been rather sour faced around the city which could easily be attributable to her notorious attitude problem but also might have to do with the fact that after a relatively low key couple of years, both are ready to test the fame waters once again. He’s got a new tv show that apparently sucks, and she’s yet another former telly star trying to launch a legitimate film career – as if one Jennifer Aniston wasn’t enough.

From what I understand, we’re not quite in panic territory just yet. But my smutty sense is tingling…

Curious on your take on Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. I have to admit to loving SMG's diva-in-training self once upon a time. I even somewhat liked her hookup with FPJ since she managed to snag him when he was at his peak, and she appeared to clearly run that relationship. But now, it's years later, he's a laughingstock, and she doesn't seem to have wised up and dumped his untalented ass. Please tell me things aren't as sweet as they appear with these two? They've gotta be on the verge of calling it quits, right? Is there any gossip on these two?

Are things sweet? Hmmmm…I'd say they're sweeter than they were a few months ago. As for him being a laughingstock - if you mean the spectacular failure that is now his acting career then yes, I'd have to agree. But from what I understand, he's a pretty talented writer and I wouldn't count him out in that department quite yet. He also loves his wife, despite her ambitious, dangerous flaws and to be honest, if anyone needs wising up in this relationship, it's probably him. Love is blind, non?

They seem like the perfect couple. Sugar sweet smiles wrapped in all-American charm. What’s not to love? But, as you would expect, even the purest of relationships end up going to hell in Hollywood. And while it’s true that we must each take at least half of the responsibility for our relationships woes, I can tell you without a doubt that in this case, it’s like 99% her fault.

The problem? How about an unhealthy dependency? What started out as a happy diet has now become a 3rd party in their lives. He’s been patient and he’s been kind. But he’s also getting tired. And he’s delivered an ultimatum. She’s got 6 months to wash it all out.

So now gossips. You tell me. Who’s happy?

Happiness is fleeting and there is ALWAYS down time. Poor girl. Down time for her means epic hysteria. We are talking insufferable, off the wall tantrums. So far, she's been able to hold it together professionally. But when the camera stops rolling, she locks herself in her trailer, sobbing, trembling, raging…and only 2 people can soothe her: Her loving other half and someone less respectable.
