A rare candid sighting of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill with their kids in LA shopping yesterday looking at puppies at a pet store.

I don’t want to cast aspersions on this particular pet store but pet owners know about pet stores, and it's not recommended usually to get pets at a pet store, especially dogs, because of puppy mills and shady breeding practices. This is a good time I think to talk about my Marcus as I’ve received many messages recently asking for more photos.

Jacek and I, whenever we’re away from each other, have an ongoing email chain called “Your Boy Right Now” dedicated to updates on Marcus’s f-ckery.

Marcus went to the beach yesterday and was digging obsessively. I received this photo at 6pm. Miss them.

As for Tim and Faith – this is the best I’ve seen Tim wear his jeans. Hot, right? He looks very healthy. And serene. Hopefully the things that were making him grumpy – like what happened at the ACMAs – have been eliminated?

Faith’s legs look great in those shorts.

But please don’t buy a puppy from a pet store.

Last night at the Academy of Country Music Awards, Tim McGraw was scheduled to perform but bailed at the 11th hour over what was called by his publicists a “major disagreement” with the show’s producers. Ew.com is reporting that Tim was unhappy with his stage design.

What?!!???

Are you a fussy bitch?

Or…

Are you too cranked up on your own ego, among other things?

Fortunately this disagreement did not turn violent. Not exactly a sexy beast move to pitch a diva fit over something as innocuous as what the backdrop might look like during your performance, but then again, some things don’t always make you happy.

They were supposed to have kicked their bad habit together. A partnership in blow became a commitment effort to get clean. And for a while they were successful.

But he was the weaker one. And he’s been using again for a while.

The problem, one of many obviously, is that when he’s cranked, he’s also very aggressive. Some say he’s mixing his powder with some muscle juice and the coke/steroid combination brings out the roughneck which has presented many challenges for his publicist.

Fortunately his publicist is almost as clever as Jessica Biel’s. Was able to turn spin a recent skirmish into an heroic rescue. The truth is, he was so jacked up on the good stuff he had to take it out on someone else’s head.

As for his wife...well she has a boyfriend. His name is Jesus. With her new devoutness has come an almost unbearable sanctimony, not to mention intolerance – for his lifestyle, for his binges – so much so that they are finding it increasingly difficult to be together, though like the Beckhams, they are a brand too.

One big happy family...fraud!

I love Faith Hill. I love Tim McGraw. I love Faith AND Tim. But she did not look good at Gwen Stefani’s LAMB show to end Olympus Fashion Week. For once, it’s not the clothing. This time, it’s her face. Sure, everyone gets old. But I don’t think anyone can deny that the lines of age are advancing even more rapidly than usual across Faith’s button cute face. Is it just too much sun? Are her genes to blame? Does she need a better skin care regimen? Or is there a “happy” explanation behind all of this?

It's been a while since I've had anything nice to say about Faith Hill. In style terms, of course. I adore Faith. I adore her buck teeth. And I adore Faith and Tim. Which is why a large part of me refuses to believe those cokehead rumours...and it's also why I get so disappointed when she shows up time and again in the most godawful fashion choices, like ever. OK...so now you country fans out there are like freaking out, right?? Allow me to explain: there are some in Nashville and Hollywood who believe that the McGraws are junkies. That they go on tour together and snort endless amounts of coke to stay alert. According to these gossips, that's how Faith was able to get so thin after each pregnancy... Oh, and I should tell you that she's apparently kicked it...which is why she's been outta the spotlight for a few months. Rehab, they say. There. That's the underground scoop. Believe it or not, I'm sure I'll hear from at least a few of you. Anyway, back to Faith fashion. For the most part, it sucks. But I was very, very happy to see that she appeared on the Today Show this morning wearing something decent and looking healthier (in body) than she has in a long time. The hair needs some work. As does the makeup (has she really aged, or what?) But hey, on the Faith scale...it could be a helluva lot worse.

You know what they say - the couple that plays together, stays together. Which is exactly what these two do. Or did. They have had their fair share of games. 'Happy' games. But some time last year, they decided to get clean. Together. And luckily for them, they did it. Clean, sober, and a bit heavier. The problem is that he's become obsessed with his looks. He feels chubby, he feels old, he feels threatened by the new guard, and so naturally, he sought professional help. Some Botox here, some Botox there, a little pull here, and a little pull there…and the results - in his mind anyway - are fabulous. But doing it all alone is no fun, which is why he's been trying to convince his wife to participate. Unfortunately, she's not as in to it as he is. And this difference of opinion is starting to fracture the relationship. We're nowhere near Code Red just yet…but stay tuned…
